Senior Structural Engineer $148k - $132k Buildings Guru

Location: NSW - Sydney
Salary: $148,000.00
Category: Engineering - Structural

You have been with your current firm for a number of years, there is a sense of loyalty there, you are not necessarily unhappy, definitely comfortable, but is your career progression suffering as a result?

You have likely hit a wall in terms of climbing any further up the food chain, there is already a solid management team in place that is not likely to be expanded, so you can carry on doing what you are doing now or move to a new firm where there is blue sky for your future.

What this leading structures firm does well, is set all new employees on a mapped out path as to where they can take their career. If you are interested in building a team around you and running your own projects end to end this is available.  If you are interested in the business development side of the business, developing clients and growing a fee base, becoming a work winner this is also an option.

They are not rigid in their thinking; they promote succession planning and further development. Training budgets allocated to all staff, access to resources and reputable mentors to assist you in getting to where you want to be.

They have a sizeable team and have grown steadily in the last few years and are continuing to expand their service offering which means more room to grow the senior engineers coming through the ranks.

They haven’t pigeon holed themselves into one area of civil, they cover a broad sector of the market that allows them to work with private developers and collaborate with builders and deal with the public sector clients. Have a guru in high rise amongst their ranks.

They are looking for technically strong Senior Structural Engineers who are confident delivering projects, dealing with clients and running a small team.

Ideally 7-10+yrs local consulting experience, someone looking for a step up, Degree Qualified and Chartered preferred but will assist in this process if not.
